Structural Consulting/Inspection Services
Nolan Engineering, PLLC has qualified and experienced structural engineers and forensic inspectors who can provide a number of inspection and consulting services for residential, commercial, and insurance clients. From roofs to foundations, we will inspect all areas of a structure to ensure structural integrity, determine causes of potential failures, and provide recommendations for improvement/remediation.
Our engineers and inspectors will service any area of NYS and can provide certified engineering reports and/or engineered drawings for real estate transactions, financing applications, contractors, insurance claims, building department citations, or to assist with litigation. Our engineers are licensed in NY, CT, CO and DE, and we are working to obtain licenses in other states as well!

Structural Inspection with Verbal Report
Nolan Engineering, PLLC will perform visual structural assessments of entire buildings or specific areas of concern. Depending on the location of the area of concern, we may request that walls/ceilings/floors be opened so that we may inspect. Following the assessment, we will verbally discuss our findings and recommendations with you to help you create a plan for moving forward.

Home Inspections
Streamline your home inspection process by having your inspection performed by a licensed professional engineer. As opposed to a certified home inspector, a licensed engineer is qualified to provide recommendations for structural repairs as well as cost estimates for repairs that can be used when purchasing real estate. Our home inspections include a basic structural inspection and pest inspection. Additional services such as radon testing, water testing, water flow testing, etc., are also available.
*Please note that our cost estimates may not align exactly with the person that you hire to make those repairs, as we are not a contractor, but can be used when negotiating the purchase of real estate.

Certified Structural Inspection Reports
Nolan Engineering, PLLC will perform visual structural assessments of entire buildings or specific areas of concern. HUD/Tie Down Inspections of Mobile/Manufactured Homes
Nolan Engineering offers inspections of mobile/manufactured homes required for real estate transactions. This includes a structural inspection of the home as well as confirming the number and proper installation of the tie downs. If the home is not structurally sound or is lacking proper tie downs, we will provide recommendations for repair.
